Mike Hatton actor/writer/producer/director best known for starring in a handful of straight-to-DVD feature films. The Second City alumnus’ 2014 feature length comedy, Live Nude Girls (producer/writer/actor), has garnered a cult following since its release topping the New York Times Movie Pulse list for three consecutive weeks. The movie’s success earned him a spot as a featured producer of the 2014 American Film Market. His latest feature film, Vigilante Diaries, stars Jason Mewes, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Michael Madsen.

As a director, his regional television commercials have won numerous Telly Awards and his viral videos have accumulated over 5 million hits.

As an unscripted producer, his Erik Estrada hosted un-aired game show pilot, Road Wage (Creator, Executive Producer), is the highest tested game show in the history of Scripps Networks. His notable clients include Spike TV, Warner Brothers Television, Travel Channel, University of Southern California, and Los Angeles Unified School District. He lives in The Valley with his wife, Kristine, a reporter for CBS/KCAL, and their 3 children.

Mark Sherman
Vice President - Head of Production

Mark is a Los Angeles-based actor and producer who has performed in numerous independent films and commercials for notable directors like Francis Lawrence, Jake Scott and Marc Webb. He will be seen next playing music mogul, Jimmy Iovine in Universal’s “Straight Outta Compton,” directed by F. Gary Gray.

Behind the camera, Mark got his start as a producer when he managed and oversaw the construction of a boutique sound stage with full grip and lighting rental facility. Through this endeavor, he honed his skills producing dozens of music videos. His most notable clients include Limp Bizkit, Lil’ Wayne, the Hard Summer Festival, Destructo, and Five Finger Death Punch. He produced his first feature, Live Nude Girls and assisted in selling the worldwide rights to the film. He most recently was a producer and Unit Production Manager on Vigilante Diaries, featuring Michael Madsen, UFC fighter Rampage Jackson, and Jason Mewes.

Originally from New York and then South Florida, Mark earned a degree in Psychology from The University of Florida.

Jessica Uberuaga
Vice President – Finance

Over the past 8 years, Jessica Uberuaga, Ton of Hat’s VP of Finance, has cultivated many key relationships with film financiers for equity investment in several projects.

Her role within the company is to shepherd funds into the company’s upcoming independent film and television slate.

The professional level dancer and actress’ production background started when her ballroom & salsa dance school quickly evolved into a company producing live events for clients like Macy Gray, Hemingway’s Nightclub and MGM Las Vegas. After appearing in several national campaigns, her first foray into scripted projects was to produce and star in the viral series, “Keenan’s Crush.”

Jessica has also starred in several internationally released films, including Vigilante Diaries (HBO) and MindBlown (SyFy), both produced by Ton of Hats.  She graduated with honors in Economics and Spanish from Boise State University and the University of Alicante and now resides in the Hollywood Hills.

Graison Stemper
Vice President - Development

With over 10 years of experience in television news, talk show and infomercial production both in front of and behind the camera, Graison started her career with KPSP-2 in Palm Springs, CA and moved onto Producing for several divisions of Canadian media giant Global News in Vancouver, Canada. A strong work ethic, creative thinking and a “tell it like it is attitude” is her trademark.

Since partnering with Mike Hatton of Ton of Hats in Los Angeles, Graison has created and executive produced an unscripted docu-series set in Palm Springs, CA and other projects in the works.
